Although I aim to become a member of the 5 am club, I seldom achieve this goal. One positive aspect of these early mornings, during the rare occasions when I am awake and up at this almost unearthly hour, is the peacefulness and tranquility. It's an ideal moment to get ready for the upcoming day without any distractions. However, my main issue is that by 11 am, I feel exhausted and require a nap! My family affectionately calls me the 'dormouse', as I truly cherish my sleep.
Establishing discipline and structure in your daily routine can greatly contribute to the realization of your goals and aspirations, and in my view, is essential. In the midst of a hectic life, it is all too simple to lose focus on pursuing your objectives, hence rising early can assist you in staying attentive and striving for success while others are still asleep.
Considering the possibility of gradually adjusting to an earlier start, I have realized that there is little benefit in waking up at 5 a.m. only to feel tired by 11. Therefore, tomorrow I plan to wake up at 7 a.m. and see how it goes from there. Planning my tasks, desires, and necessities the night before will be extremely beneficial. Beginning the day slowly and mindfully will bring me closer to achieving my goals. This approach will help me feel more at ease, allowing me to take deep breaths and start the day as I intend to continue.
